Dream Reader Come Rescue Me

Right now I have Mariah Carey’s “Dream Lover” song in my head. When I saw the dream reader theme for Day 6, the song automatically started playing and I started singing that amazing song with my own “Dream Reader” alterations.

I started singing, “Dream reader come rescue me, take my stats up not down. Let me take you where you want to baby now. I need you so desperately. Won’t you please come around cuz I want to share my postings with you baby.”ย

You know you like my “dream reader” remix. Don’t lie. ๐Ÿ˜€

On a more serious note, my dream reader would be inspirational, interactive and relatable. I enjoy reading blogs that inspire, get me to start thinking and create a sense of hope in a not so hopeful world. My dream reader is full of positive feedback and constructive criticism (in the most uplifting way possible). Isn’t that the point of blogging? Putting your own voice out there in hopes of finding someone who will either love what you do, who can relate to you or someone who will find inspiration, hope and whatever they’re searching for in your writings. Bottom line, my dream reader is anyone in need of inspiration (mostly the Jesus-related type) and who has aย desireย to learn about my home, American Samoa (because I blog a lot about my little rock I live and love on).

  1. Your blog is inspirational. I look forward to learning about your homeland and culture. We are all hoping to find our dream readers! Love your remix of Dream Lover ….! ๐Ÿ˜„

      • You have a super-blessed week too! I have to tell you that I went to the grocery store after church, and I was all high and ga-ga–full of Easter–you know? The clerk, who’s probably not about Jesus, said, “you’re so cute”….so maybe that’s a little seed planted.

      • What the awesome !?!?! Every seed counts ๐Ÿ™‚ Praying it fell on fertile ground and that it takes root and grows. We never know what kind of blessing we can be to a person. ๐Ÿ˜€

      • I forgot to tell you that she is full Hawaiian–that’s not too far from Samoan, is it? I’m terribly ignorant of the larger world around me!

      • Haha. It’s ok. I got a lot of that when I was in college in Missouri, but yes Samoans and Hawaiians are from the same South Pacific region called Polynesia ๐Ÿ™‚

      • Oh my goodness. It was a completely different world from what I was use to, but the experience was awesome. I studied advertising and communications ๐Ÿ™‚
